Dr. Cheryl Chapman brings over four decades of diverse experience in environmental leadership spanning private, governmental, and academic sectors. As the inaugural Executive Director of the Western Dakota Regional Water System, she leads initiatives to address water challenges in western South Dakota. Her expertise, showcased through pioneering projects and academic contributions, underscores her commitment to innovative problem-solving. With a track record of successful project management for esteemed organizations and impactful leadership in federal and local governance, Dr. Chapman is a transformative force in environmental management and infrastructure development.

Katie LeClair

Katie LeClair is the Operations Manager of WDRWS. She has more than a decade of experience supporting policymakers and community members. During that time, she has honed her research, analysis, data management and messaging skills.
